Safety shut-off valves for water

Safety shut-off valves protect the heating circuit against an unacceptable pressure rise if gas enters the water side of the heat exchanger (e.g. from a leakage in its tube bank).
The medium flowing through the valve thus is the water of the heating circuit.
The valve opens and closes automatically, i.e. manual opening is not necessary.
