direct acting regulators
The operating principle of "direct acting" means that the pressure is regulated by the regulator control unit without any additional control system.
The technical design of the gas pressure regulator is simple. Unlike pilot-operated pressure regulators direct-acting regulators can handle even small pressure differences between the controller input and output.
Direct-acting regulators are fail-to-open designs (i.e., they open in the event of a diaphragm fault).
Moreover, they can be made with or without an integrated safety shut-off valve and fitted with further accessories.
